Color Wheel Project

My Project

The project I made look has different shapes for each the of color. I made the primary colors, Red, Blue, and Yellow, biggest and circles, secondary colors, Orange, Green, and Violet, a little bit size and squares, and lastly the tertiaries colors, RedOrange, RedViolet, BlueGreen, GreenViolet, YellowGreen, and lastly YellowOrange, are the smallest and they are triangles. I chose cuts founts for the color names and an intriguing fount for the title. Lines line up the primary colors, dashes line up the secondary colors, and the tertiaries colors are on the circle connected with everything.

What I Learned From This Project

During the making of this project I learned a lot of new stuff like new commands on the computer, and how to use adobe illustrator. I honestly barely ever used a computer before E-Com, so I didn't learn things like how command z is an undo shortcut, or how you can use finder to find adobe illustrator. 

How I Think I Did

I think that my color wheel turned out quite good, for being my first time using adobe illustrator. I chose to take my shapes significantly different so if someone took one glance at it they could easily tell the difference with the different colors. I had to force myself to stop looking at all the founts and to just find one and stick with it because I love founts, and I think I chose the right ones for my project.

Sidewalk Chalk

Tuesday is when this whole project began. Tuesday we went into E9 class and our teacher, Mr. Olson, told us that today we would be going to the ravens nest to start our first project. So we all wen down stairs to the ravens nest and got seated. once all the classes were in there, they numbered us off into groups of 4. My group had two other girls and one boy. we were told to think of one object that represents us. The symbols I chose was a bumblebee, and later Oscar the Grouch was my symbol too. the other members in my group chose a rose, glitter, and a turtle shell. After we chose our object we were told to come up with a design that incorporated all of our objects, like a shield or a flag, but we got to come up with it. I immediately  had an idea in my mind. My idea was to have a paintbrush painting our ideas. So we talked and everyone liked the idea. Then at one point in the discussion the boy said, as a joke, how about instead of a paintbrush we did a raven throwing up. The idea was to basically replace the paintbrush with a raven, and we all decided that we liked it. Soon came Thursday, or chalk day, and we were all so excited to do our project. when we went outside there was already chalk projects, so it was hard to find a spot to put our project. We ended up just doing it right next to the table with all the chalk on it. we all drew our own object, and did everything else together. I added in Oscar the Grouches hand. And then once we were done we walked around and looked at other projects. And thats my Chalk Project.
